2018 is over, and as much as I sometimes wish there was a reset button for 2019, God has given me everything I need to trust Him and walk with Him and grow closer to Him in the new year.
I will most likely be absent from the blog for the month of November. Here's why:
Even Christians who have fallen into despicable sins can proclaim the gospel of Christ. . . . Psalm 51:13.
Christ wants to be found; He doesn't make it hard to find Him.
As believers, we should never compare ourselves to each other, or brag to each other about how much better we are than others. . . . Ephesians 2:1-5.
God does not take sin lightly, and He occasionally uses graphic language to wake us up to its presence. . . . Ezekiel 23:20.
When the Bible says that God is for us, that is greater than anything any human will ever tell you. . . . Romans 8:31.
Just a quick update on my plans for this blog and my goals in writing. Enjoy!
A memoir for my brother on his 24th birthday—also his first as a married man. . . . Proverbs 17:17; 27:10.
Expecting women to live up to the standard laid out in Proverbs 31 is legalistic and less than biblical for Christians. . . . 1 Timothy 1:15.
